Hello there! I'm so glad you've stopped on by to check things out at Sarah Mielke Coaching. This is a space where I hope you can have a small glimpse into who I am, ways I can help you, ways I've been able to help others, and realize that you deserve to live a life that you love.

If you're reading this you likely have a craving for more in your life. I imagine you're feeling less than fulfilled, spending your days going through the motions, and scared to death this might be how you live out the rest of your days.

I want to be that person who helps you out of those situations and into the best of what's yet to come. I help clients regain confidence and self-worth when feeling stuck in relationships, breakups, and friendships, finding happiness and purpose in your life, managing through a major life transition and more..

Whatever trauma or life obstacles have led you to this point we can turn things around. Do you ever have those moments where you find a wave of motivation to change your life but have no idea where to start? This is where a Life Coach comes in.

What is a Life Coach?

Someone who will help you achieve greater fulfillment in your life by obtaining confidence, reaching goals, and assessing where you find happiness through support and accountability.

When can I expect to see results?

This is all dependent on your mindset, how diligently you are willing to do the work, and will be reflective of the effort you put in. With clients who make a strong commitment to the program - noticeable changes start to become prevalent between 3-6 months. (This is a general average but again is very specific to YOU!)

How do you feel about coaching people who have a different background than you?

I am personally passionate about creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world by putting those thoughts into action through nonprofit work, human rights activism, political pressure, and corporate efforts.

I am happy to help anyone regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious background, etc. Everyone deserves to be seen as they are and receive the help they need with considerations to societal barriers they may face.

Is this the same as therapy?

No! Therapy is a fantastic tool to help support your development and growth but serves a different purpose. I describe therapy as the act of uncovering and coaching as the act of recovering. Therapy is a great way to understand the "why" and how various traumas have influenced the way you think and act. Although we will touch on some of your trauma and life experiences that have gotten you to this point, coaching is very action based. Coaching works towards what you can do in your life today to ultimately reach the outcomes you hope to achieve. I have many clients who also go to therapy in addition to our work and the combination is very complimentary to their progress.
